Argentina: A New Playbook for an “Economic Color Revolution”

Don’t get me wrong. I love a good hero politician story. This last week, Javier Milei and his government passed an initial set of sweeping economic reforms which, in the words of commentators, will “reimagine” the economy of Argentina.

Seemingly rising out of nowhere, Milei is the first Libertarian on earth to gain any sort of political power. This is a highly unusual occurrence because, generally speaking, no one likes Libertarians, who mostly want to reduce the size of government down to almost nothing.

That means no more handouts, no one in the masses will ever vote for that, especially once they have become addicted to getting free stuff.

One of the first acts of Milei was to depart from China’s BRICS coalition talks, and even begin actively opening fire on Chinese fishing vessels illegally poaching their coastal waters.

So what gives? Is this all a magical story or is something else going on? I am pretty sure we are seeing a trial run for a completely new set of strategies designed to combat China in the global south and keep rival BRICS nations close to America.

I am the only one saying this. And I am saying it based purely on logic and observation, as well as anecdotes. What I am observing all points in this direction. And I trust my own observations over the data, which likely won’t arrive until years after the fact. And even then, that information will likely be clouded with disinformation from competing parties.

The Argentina Playbook to reclaim the Global South, if I had to guess, is entirely driven behind the scenes by Silicon Valley venture capitalists. Why? Because only the Peter Thiels, Marc Andreesens of the world are Libertarian thinkers with sufficient access to the government and capital to influence such a course of events.

Whenever I hear about Milei, every single thing he says and does seems informed by Peter Thiel. I have watched enough talks by Thiel, and spent enough time in the Austrian Economics intellectual realm to spot these ideas when I see them. Only Peter Thiel would possibly be in position, through his former association with the prior Trump administration to run or influence or finance (directly or indirectly) what we are seeing.

Is this a bad thing? No.

I believe at this point, the Global South has a choice between collectively descending into Venezuela in the advent of a next global financial crisis resulting in tyranny, starvation or death. Or they can reform themselves drastically with libertarian playbooks designed to restructure corrupt governments and hopefully act as beacons for recovery across the world.

I am going to outline in this essay what I believe the playbook is here;

  1. Use Argentina on the world stage as a counterpoint to the World Economic Forum and China’s Belt and Road initiative
  2. Demonstrate a working use case of drastic economic deregulation and government slimming down around the world
  3. Use this playbook as an “Economic Color Revolution” to systematically snap global south countries out of the hands of China, and Western Liberals
  4. Spread this playbook to the United States itself

Who might be pulling the string here? There is a very, very, very short list of people capable of doing this.

It must be originating from the capitalist ranks of the United States. It may also involve the Pentagon, CIA and state department.

However — If this is indeed a playbook, it is a very brilliant one. Only someone who is extremely intelligent or a group of the smartest people on earth would be capable of not only designing the idea but executing it could do this.

The operational excellence we are seeing smells like highly successful tech entrepreneurs who know how to run deeply strategic game plans, and also have media and political and geopolitical skills.

The Argentina Playbook must be the work of some combination of elite elements both in and external to the government, possibly without the broader knowledge of senate or congresses or administration.

I see what is going on, I’m probably the only one who does.

The reason I am calling this an “Economic Color Revolution” is that “color revolutions” were a playbook many believe that the Pentagon and State Department used to depose dictators across the Middle East with much mixed success.

This new Economic Color Revolution has all the hallmarks of a well designed, systematic and media informed strategy to create a showcase to the world about the benefits of remaining in the American (capitalist) sphere.

The fact that this is a Libertarian awakening can only have originated at the highest levels of Silicon Valley, the only place left on earth where any Libertarians wield any sort of possible influence on government.

I will be covering this playbook as it unfolds.

You heard it here first.
