Mexico

I have to say I believe that what is about to happen in Mexico may be shocking. Starting with Nixon and Reagan’s war on drugs in the 1980s up through George Bush pretty much nothing worked.

Something seems different this time. There is something highly ominous in the quietness with which a few things are changing with relation to the USA-Mexico relationship.

I don’t think Trump has in mind a casual repeating of history. Building walls. Things that don’t work.

No he is going to do something more similar to what happened in El Salvador. If I had to bet, I would personally guess that Mexico in coordination with the USA is about to use measures that are so extreme that it is hard to believe.

I don’t believe Trump is planning a partial solution, or a kick the can down the road solution. I think before we are done, the Mexican drug cartels will be locked up permanently in El Salvador style camps. Perhaps scattered across South America. Perhaps in El Salvador.

The current situation of Mexico as a failed narco state which America leverages heavily for trade and cheap manufacturing m is going to last long. I think by the time we are done, Mexico is going to be a cleaned house. Murder rates to zero.

It will be unapologetic. It won’t be nice. It will be good for America. It will stop the flow of drugs and human trafficking. It will strengthen Mexico as a nation.

It will be very very very bad for gang members. El Salvador showed it is possible to simply decide to clean house. And get it done. And that it works.

The solution is not nice.

Mexico as it is now is completely beyond salvation without a solution like this. I believe this is exactly what is coming. I believe the silence around this signals it will happen suddenly and ruthlessly. It has all been planned out years in advance.

Trump started with attempting to use a wall to solve the problem. It is clear that the problem is on the other side of the wall.

We are about to see the United States do some things, both to Mexico and probably Venezuela which the liberal rules based world order would object to.

That’s what I think is coming.
